The Team Lead is the expert on leading Business Unit Sales Strategy across the Kraft Heinz US retail business. This critical role helps translate category vision & strategy into clearly articulated category fundamentals while driving the BUs strategic agenda with cross-functional partners to unlock growth. This position maximizes impact and drives profitable growth through joint business plans, strategic partnerships, customer growth summits and Perfect Store execution such as merchandising excellence and delivering shelving principles. The team Lead is the voice of sales and plays a large role in BU monthly integrated business planning.

Key Components of the role
  • Drive sales and profitable growth through building, implementing and executing key Business Unit Sales Strategies across US retail businesses.
  • Work with Marketing and Field Sales Leadership to build and execute plans focused on delivering merchandising, innovation, shelving and omnichannel programs across key retailers.
  • Cross-collaborate with Sales and BU Finance teams to build- analyze- improve and implement financially based strategies inclusive of strategic brand changes- promotional planning and trade budgeting.
  • Understand and apply category analytics to deliver key insights and business recommendations on merchandising, assortment, pricing, and promotion.
  • Leverage insights resources and synthesize information from multiple data sources to maximize the impact of category leadership with customers.
  • Deliver critical category information necessary to flawless execution of category priorities (e.g., SKU rankings, new item information, competitive information, consumer and shopper insights etc.).
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Operations, Supply Excellence and Marketing on Sales Planning with field teams.
  • Participate and represent business unit in customer growth summits, innovation deep dives and line reviews to develop and deliver short, mid and long term customer growth plans
  • Successfully build internal relationships to help influence decisions towards driving profitable external growth
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across Customer Business Teams.

  • 7 - 10 years of experience (prior experience in category management or sales required)
  • Outstanding analytic / problem-solving capability with experience using large data sets
  • Strong syndicated and panel data knowledge
  • Excellent communication and prioritization
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams, handle simultaneous projects, and deliver within agreed upon time frames
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel & Power Point Required

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment

We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness. We also believe providing a more flexible and agile model is essential in today's workplace. A majority of our office-based employees will be able to work remotely for up to two days each week.
